What You’ll Need
- 1 Prairie Fresh® bone-in pork loin roast
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- 2 tablespoons coarse ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
- Butchers twine
- Your favorite BBQ sauce
Directions
- Remove silver skin from ribs side of pork loin roast and trim fat off top side of roast.
- Cut down and outward at slight angle across length of roast until hitting bone.
- Flip roast over and cut across length of roast. Cut through rib meat on top of each bone across length of roast.
- Trim around each bone.
- Roll roast into a wheel, securing with butchers’ twine.
- Season pork crown roast with salt, pepper and garlic.
- Heat grill, smoker or oven to 300 F.
- Place roast in oven, in smoker or on grill and cook until roast reaches internal temperature of 150 F.
- Remove butchers’ twine, slice and enjoy with your favorite BBQ sauce.
