What You’ll Need
- 1 prepared pizza dough (16 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups Slow Cooker Prairie Fresh® BBQ Pulled Pork
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose BBQ seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup sliced scallions
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425 F.
- Grease a 16-inch pizza pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and press the dough onto the pan.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rice for 1 hour in the pan.
- After 1 hour, remove the plastic wrap from the dough and, using your hands, press and stretch the dough to fill the entire pan evenly.
- Drizzle 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce onto the top of the pizza dough and place pieces of the pulled pork all over the top of the dough.
- Evenly sprinkle the all-purpose BBQ seasoning on top of the entire pizza, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar to cover the entire top of the dough, leaving 1/2-inch around the edges for the crust.
- Place the pan in the middle rack of your oven and bake for 12 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the oven and slide the pizza off the pan directly onto the oven rack and finish cooking for remaining 3 minutes or until the bottom crust is golden brown and the cheese is beautifully melted with a slight bit of browning.
- Transfer the pizza back to the pizza pan and allow the pizza to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice the pizza into 8 slices, garnish with sliced scallions and serve.
